Hello, I’m Madeleine Horton. I’m so honored to be a part of the Colorado Springs Raquel Club swim team!
I was a swimmer for CSRC from 2008-2011 and swam for Doherty High School during those years as well. I was also able to be an assistant coach back in 2016 for a year round team. Coaching is what I truly want to do in life and I’m so happy this opportunity came along and allowed me to get back into the swimming community.
I have loved swimming since the day I started and can’t wait to start coaching again. I look forward to getting to know everyone and being able to share all the joys that come with swimming.
Outside of swimming I enjoy camping, hiking , and some off-roading in my Jeep.
This summer is going to be a blast and I’m beyond excited to get started!

Hello, I am Torianne Austin. I have been here with the Hurricane family as a swimmer for about 10 years and I am excited to be taking on a new role. I love swimming but I have also loved helping some of these kids learn how to swim throughout the years and I am happy to be doing it in an official capacity now. Swimming is a great form of exercise, but a swim team is a great way to make friends who challenge each other while having a good time. Beyond my experience with the Racquet Club I have also swam at Coronado High School. Outside of swimming I am a student at Pikes Peak Community College, and while I know I love helping people and teaching, I have yet to narrow that down to a career path. I also love reading, spending time outside hiking or biking, and quality time with family and friends. Summer is fast approaching and I am excited to be part of our swim community once again!
